Olatz trained at both Bemidji State University, Minnesota and the University of Portsmouth, England. During her degree years she worked at the campus radio station where she hosted a weekly country music show.

In 1999 Olatz began her professional career in audio post production when she joined Rainbow Post. Three years later, after she decided to further her skills, she moved to Clear Cut Pictures.

She now has an extensive list of credits in documentary, entertainment, corporate and commercials; and loves the challenge of sound design and bringing a director's ideas to life.

"I'd like to applaud Olatz's contribution. I think her imaginative work has really helped to make the films come alive. And I hope that we can find a way to work together again in the future."
